May 2008: The Tilton Academic Building has been awarded a Gold Citation in the 2008 American School & University Educational Interiors Awards Program. One of only five projects in the country to receive a gold citation, the 38,000SF building transformed the campus by creating a unified academic complex and defining a new academic quadrangle. May 2008: Virginie Stanley joined SSA from Moshe Safdie's office in Boston. Virginie is a 2004 graduate of Drury University and is originally from the Hague, Netherlands.

Scott Simons Architects was originally established in 1983 in New York City.  Over the years the firm has evolved to its present form, a fourteen person architectural and planning firm that is recognized for its thoughtful, innovative planning and building designs.
